In a past life, I founded behindthenet.ca, which was the premier NHL advanced statistics website in the early 2010s. I built behindthenet.ca into a consulting and media business, and worked for a number of professional sports teams. I also wrote for the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, and ESPN, and made numerous appearances on Canadian radio and television.
